  I saw Anticevich because my front teeth were experiencing sensitivity. I agreed to have composites put on and was told I should also have them on either side of the front teeth (4 in total). He also took an X-ray at which time I was informed a filling was needed on a tooth at the top, second from the back. This tooth is essential in order to chew food. It has been a very stressful and expensive ordeal since I let this dentist work on my teeth. The filling was deep and I was in so much pain I considered having it pulled as I couldn't afford root canal therapy. Prior to this I never had an issue with this tooth. Thankfully, 18 months later I still have my tooth but it irritates me every day and there is mild sensitivity. It feels uncomfortable and is a constant reminder of how negligent he was by drilling too close to the nerve and not giving me this information beforehand so I would have the option of not going ahead with it. Even during the procedure he would have known the filling needs to get dangerously close to the nerve and before continuing to drill deeper he should have let me know so I could opt to only have a standard shallow filling and risk further decay over time. As a patient, it is my right to make this decision. It is unethical and wrong to carelessly drill so close to the nerve without regard to the consequences for the patient. As for the composites I am left with four that were poorly finished and I've spent additional money to make them look as attractive and natural looking as possible. I was told they would last up to five years but they started to chip within a few months. I have a dental appointment next week because one of my composites chipped whilst flossing! Anticevich shaved my natural teeth down drastically and they are so narrow and small they are the size of a small child's teeth. If I want to smile with confidence I have no choice but to keep replacing the composites as they wear or chip and hope one day I can afford porcelain veneers. Thanks to his NEGLIGENCE and UNPROFESSIONAL , UNSKILLED work I have a lifetime of stress maintaining these 4 teeth and there's also the uncertainty of not knowing when I'll need further work on the filling or if the pain will return. He should not be practising. Anticevich is the only dentist I have seen who has not taken good care of my teeth. He has seriously damaged them. Please stay away from him because his dental work borders on being criminal.
